We're currently having some urgent repairs made to our drain systems at the Centre. This means that some areas of our car park, drive and front lawn will be fenced off, and we've temporarily had to move our disabled spaces a little further from the building than we'd like. If this causes a problem for you, we do have a wheelchair you can borrow for free- just ask at the information desk.
The good news is that we are fully open throughout the works and wheelchair-friendly access will be maintained to both levels of the building at all times.
As a thank you for putting up with the inevitable disruption, we won't be charging for parking during the works either.
Open all year, except Christmas Day.

Garden Gang goes forth!
Our Garden gang has worked hard throughout autumn 2011 to tidy up our formal gardens. If you're green-fingered and looking for something to brighten up your weekend, come and join us for our next session in the New Year (date to be confirmed). To add your name to our contact list for volunteers, please contact Natalie Fisher on (01874) 623366.
The grounds of the Centre are an ideal place to relax and take in the view. They are gently landscaped and mostly lawns and there are picnic tables, benches and seats in many places around the building.
Dogs are welcome but on leads please. There are no dog waste bins at the Centre - so please remove your dog waste. Don't use the litter bins. Beyond the gates and stiles is Mynydd Illtyd Common.
Parking is free during January 2012! This is because of the drains repairs mentioned at the top of this page.
From February 1st, charges are as follows:
We have helpful and friendly staff on duty every day. We are used to typical (and unusual!) questions about the National Park. We have a wealth of knowledge about the popular sites and the lesser known gems of the area.
