The central role of the National Park Management Plan is to guide the delivery of the statutory purposes and duty, assisted by the National Park Authority's statutory planning function.
Successful implementation of the Management Plan is a task shared by all, and, therefore, requires active partnerships between all those involved or with an interest in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Action Plan aids in this process by prioritising resources so that local strategies can be implemented to achieve 5-year outcomes, actions and policies in the short-term. These are presented in the Priority Actions document below.
